This was announced by the First Deputy Minister of Social Policy, Family and Unity Lyudmila Shemelinets.

According to her, mothers will receive 50,000 hryvnias as a one-time payment.

“If we are talking about all other types of payments, then they will be guaranteed for those children who, as of January 1, 2026, have not yet turned one year old,” said Shemelynets.

She also specified that parents of children who, as of January 1, 2026, have not yet turned one year old, have the right to receive assistance in the amount of 7 thousand hryvnias until the child reaches one year of age.

In addition, after the child reaches one year, families will have the opportunity to receive payments under the “eYasla” program.

New payments from the stateThe Verkhovna Rada adopted a law according to which, from January 1, 2026, when a child is born, its parents will be able to receive a payment of 50,000 hryvnias. In addition, payment of 8,000 hryvnias is expected under the “eYasla” program – support for the care of a child aged 1 to 3 years. And also an additional 7 thousand hryvnias for pregnant women who are not officially working.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a program of one-time monetary aid payments of 6,500 hryvnias for the most vulnerable categories of citizens as part of the “Winter Support” package. As Prime Minister Yulia Svyridenko reported, the program is designed for people who need the most support: orphans, children under guardianship, children with disabilities in foster families, IDP children, IDPs with disabilities, single pensioners.
