The Norwegian Prime Minister reported that his country’s support will continue in the current and next year.

According to the UNIAN correspondent, Prime Minister Jonas Gar Stere said this during a joint with President Vladimir Zelensky Press Conference today in Kiev.
“Today, Mr. President, I have announced that the high support of Norway for Ukraine will continue in 2025-2026. And this provides for $ 8.45 billion. This amount will be offered to the allocation of Parliament, which will allocate funds under the Nansen program. I hope we can maintain this level.”
The Prime Minister also noted that the most effective security guarantee for Ukraine is to strengthen its defense in all dimensions.
“We will contribute to the supply of two Patriot systems that we co -finance … We will do everything in our power to help you defend ourselves,” Gar Stra emphasized.
In addition, he added that Norway co -finalized gas supply and accumulation for Ukraine.
“We do this with European partners. And we will take into account your messages,” the Prime Minister of Norway assured.

It was noted that Norway would allocate about 7 billion Norwegian crowns (about $ 700 million) to strengthen Ukraine’s air defense. Together with Germany, the country will put two Patriot and missiles, as well as other types of air defense.
The report emphasized that these systems will help protect the civilian population of Ukraine.
