According to reports, the Minister of Defense took part in the meeting of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine “Ramstein” in Germany. During a meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart Rustem Umyerov, Gram said that Norway will join the new package of drones together with Great Britain and the International Fund for Ukraine (IFU).

This fund, which is managed by the British Ministry of Defence, attracts funds from international partners for the rapid procurement of military equipment for Ukraine.
“Ukraine continues to feel a strong need for additional military equipment to protect itself from Russia’s aggressive war. Drones are an important part of this effort, both for protecting critical infrastructure and for front-line use,” Gram added.
In December, Norway said it would allocate 2.7 billion kroner ($242 million) to “strengthen the Ukrainian fleet and help it deter Russian naval forces in the Black Sea.”
