The Cassation Administrative Court of the Supreme Court found the suspension of financing of the political party “Holos” legitimate, the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption announced on October 11.

According to the report, the court issued a resolution today in which it agreed with the decision of the NAKC on the termination of state funding of the political force.

“The ruling is final and cannot be appealed. This means that the political party in this convocation will no longer receive state funding for statutory activities,” the agency says.

The court’s decision is currently not publicly available, the “Voice” party did not comment on it.

As the “Chesno” project reports, one of the arguments of the “Voice” during the cassation hearing was that the party did not commit a repeated violation in the interpretation of the Code of Ukraine on administrative offenses. The representatives of NAZK noted that the concept of repetition is defined in the law on political parties.

In June 2024, the NAZK announced that it had discovered a number of violations in the reports of the “Voice” political party on property, income and obligations of a financial nature for the III-IV quarters of 2020. According to the agency’s assessment, this is a reason to stop state funding of the statutory activities of the party.
