“Instead of a real decrease in prices for medicines, the Union Ministry of Health will imitate reforms, acting in the interests of major pharmaceuticals, says the director of the Center for Civic Research Center …”, – WRITE: www.unian.ua

“The President and the NSDC give a clear political signal – to make the medicine more accessible. But the MOH is coming into the business – and the old good game begins in imitation of reforms,” Kulik said on his Facebook page on Tuesday.
According to him, the Ministry of Health initiative with the list “Top 100 drugs” looks like an advertising campaign and does not affect the market as a whole. In addition, decision -making in the ministry is in place, without proper discussion with the expert environment.
“Pharmacies were forbidden to enter into marketing contracts under the slogan of price reductions, but this did not produce consumers. Instead, large manufacturers who received extra profits won,” Kulik said.
The political scientist emphasized that the Ministry of Health operates unsystematic, destroying a healthy market under the guise of the struggle for the availability of medicines, which is actually turning into a “struggle for convenient arrangements”.
“If the President’s political will continues to be depreciated at the ministry level, the issue arises not only in the availability of medicines – but in the management mechanisms as a whole,” Kulik summed up.
