The first North Korean prisoners of war have already arrived in Kyiv.

In the context of the capture of the first prisoners of war from North Korea, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiga announced this on X social network.He reminded that the first North Korean prisoners of war were already in Kyiv. At the same time, “the regular troops of the DPRK, not mercenaries, are participating in the war of aggression against the European country.”
“The security of Europe and the Indo-Pacific region are directly connected. We need maximum pressure on the regimes in Moscow and Pyongyang,” the diplomat said.
North Korean soldiers are captured by the Armed ForcesAs UNIAN reported, Ukraine captured the first North Korean soldiers. As President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported, two soldiers were wounded in Kurshchyna. They were delivered to Kyiv.
The captured North Korean soldiers surrendered to Ukrainian soldiers of tactical group No. 84 of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As with all prisoners, these two soldiers from North Korea are being given the necessary medical care.
