This year, the situation is extremely difficult, and zero assistance has been received from the government, the mayor of the city emphasized.

He appealed to the city community to jointly decide how to live in such conditions.
“I would like to advise you that we will not finance next year? Maybe we will not finance education? Shall we not finance medicine? But we receive a lot of wounded people every day. Can we stop helping our military? Why am I telling you about this? I ask? Because you, the people of Lviv, fill the community’s budget, this is your money,” Sadovy emphasized.
He said that he saw the proposal from the government regarding the budget, which he sent to the Verkhovna Rada.
“I saw that this year they want to take approximately UAH 2 billion from the city community, including the “reversal”. I think this is wrong. Last year, when the situation was difficult and there was a request from the government, we divided approximately 1.8 billion hryvnias were given to military purposes. You know that we are giving 1 billion hryvnias to all units every day. When there was the last attack, 189 houses were damaged. 20 of them were destroyed – this is a loss of 1 billion UAH from the government. Yes, you say that the cities in the east are being shelled, maybe even more, but they want to take money from the communities of Kryvyi Rih , and in Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro. I spoke with community leaders – no one is asking them. This is not right – we must be united, we must make joint decisions,” stressed Andriy Sadovy.
We will remind, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in the project of the Law of Ukraine “On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2025”, reg. No. 12000, initiated the withdrawal from the revenues of the community budgets of the funds of the reverse subsidy, which in the next budget year is planned in the amount of UAH 12.9 billion for 189 communities.
