“The President of Ukraine believes that 1000 days of full-scale war “is enough to understand that Putin does not want peace””, — write: www.radiosvoboda.org
“When they attack even in the media, even in words about nuclear weapons and their strategy, the G20 countries that are sitting today in Brazil, did they say something? Nothing. Nothing strong. Here is the answer. So what kind of strategy can we talk about if even the G20 countries do not have a strong strategy. So our strategy is to be strong. And when Putin even starts talking about nuclear weapons, I think the world should put an answer on the table, a really strong answer on the table, what will they do if Putin uses something like these weapons or other things,” noted Volodymyr Zelensky.
According to him, 1,000 days of full-scale war “is enough to understand that Putin does not want peace.”
“Even today, it is a fact, they killed our civilians. And especially on this day, they presented a new nuclear doctrine. Why? They did not present a peace strategy. Have you heard about it? Have you read about it? Of course not! He (Putin – ed.) simply wants to create chaos in the world, wants to destroy not only Ukraine, but also some NATO countries. I don’t want to delve into this topic, I don’t want to repeat very simple things. Putin wants war. And to make it last as long as possible. The longer the war lasts, the longer he will be in the Kremlin,” said the President of Ukraine.
Mette Frederiksen also expressed her opinion, answering the question of a Danish journalist, who noted that Russia is threatening to use nuclear weapons in response to Ukraine’s use of long-range missiles, and many Europeans are worried that if this continues, it will be remembered as the beginning of the Third World War war
“I do not agree with this opinion. I will never allow Russia to threaten Europe. And when I say that I do not agree with such an opinion, I mean that it was Russia who crossed the red line. This is not Europe, not the USA, not Ukraine. Russia could end this war right now. But it was Russia that crossed the red line by starting a full-scale war in Ukraine. And Ukraine has the right to defend itself. Of course we have to help. This is a European country,” Frederiksen said.

The President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, signed the decree “On approval of the Fundamentals of the State Policy of the Russian Federation in the Field of Nuclear Deterrence”. The document was published on the official Russian legal information portal on November 19 and entered into force.
The updated doctrine provides that the basis for a nuclear attack can be “aggression against the Russian Federation and its allies by any non-nuclear state with the support of a nuclear state”, as well as a massive air attack by non-nuclear means, in particular drones.
Putin proposed to update the doctrine of nuclear deterrence at the meeting of the Security Council of the Russian Federation on September 25. The spokesman of the President of the Russian Federation, Dmytro Peskov, said that the changes should be considered as a “certain signal” for the West. “This is a signal that warns these countries about the consequences in case of their participation in an attack on our country by various means, and not necessarily nuclear ones,” Peskov said.
