He bypassed his competitor Rafala Taskovsky with a result of 50.89% against 49.11%.

Director of the Institute of National Memory Karol Navrotsky gained 50.89% of vote and won in the second round of the President of Poland. Its opponent – Mayor of Warsaw Rafal Tshaskovsky received 49.11% of the vote.
Poland’s presidential election – what is knownThe Presidential Elections in Poland in 2025 have become one of the most comprehensive in recent years. The first round took place on May 18, and the second round on June 1. In the second round, two candidates with opposite political views competed:
- Rafal Taskovsky is the Liberal Mayor of Warsaw, a representative of the ruling coalition “Civic Platform”, a supporter of European integration, reforms of the judicial system and support of the rights of LGBT+.
- Karol Navrotsky is a conservative historian supported by the Opposition Party “Law and Justice”, advocates for traditional values, limiting EU influence and cautious policy on Ukraine’s accession to NATO.
According to Exit, both candidates had almost equal chances to win. The initial data gave Taszkov 50.3% of the vote, and Navrotsky – 49.7%. However, later polls showed a change in the leader: Navrotsky received 51% and Taszkovsky – 49%.
These elections have a significant impact on the Political Course of Poland, its relations with the EU and support of Ukraine.
