She also made it clear that it is “absolutely premature” to talk about Russia’s rejoining the G8.
Ukraine and Italy: the latest newsAs UNIAN reported, Italy will not send its troops to Ukraine as part of future security guarantees. This was announced by the Italian government following the meeting of the “coalition of the determined” in Paris.
The statement notes that Prime Minister Georgia Maloney confirmed Italy’s support for the security of Ukraine.
At the same time, Meloni “repeated a number of fixed points of the Italian government’s position on the issue of guarantees, including the exclusion of the deployment of Italian troops on the ground.”
