Israel Initiates Talks with Ukraine’s President Zelensky

The Israeli government has reached out to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for a conversation, according to reports. The request was made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Ukrainian Ambassador to Israel, Michael Kornichuk, stated that the proposal for discussions was submitted last week. However, scheduling the conversation has proven challenging due to the busy agendas of both leaders.

A source from the Ukrainian President’s Office confirmed the inquiry from Netanyahu. Yet, it appears that the Israeli side has not yet been able to finalize a suitable time for the meeting.

“President Zelensky is open to speaking with the Israeli leader,” the source noted, emphasizing the willingness to engage despite the scheduling difficulties.

Israel's Prime Minister Netanyahu has requested a conversation with Ukraine's President Zelensky, but scheduling conflicts have delayed the talks. Both leaders remain open to the discussion amid their busy agendas.
