This figure is almost identical compared to last year. The Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, scientist and teacher Mikhail Vinnytsky “Ukrainian Radio” told about it.
“And nothing changes in the number of those who write a multi -grade test abroad. We conduct NMT in 34 countries, and this year just over 20,000 participants have registered this year. 300-312 thousand – this is absolutely normal, because we have about 360 thousand graduates this year, which means that part will not go. he.
At the same time, according to Vinnytsky, the number of graduates in schools each year decreases by 20-30 thousand.
“As it is compared to the pre -war period. Young people who enter this year are apparently 17 years old. Accordingly, 17 years ago, in 2008 we had 630,000 school graduates – almost twice as much. And this trend of demographic decline continues for the last 30 years. 20-30 thousand every year, unfortunately, ” – said Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine.
As Vinnytsky emphasized, such statistics are due to the fact that fewer children are born in Ukraine.
“I note that if all our territories were controlled by Ukraine, we would have approximately 510 thousand school graduates this year. We see an obvious difference: 360 thousand against 510 thousand,” he added.
In his turn, the journalist asked the official how Ukraine managed to stabilize the situation to remain the same indicators on the number of graduates from last year, to which he answered:
“A large number of 17-year-old goes abroad, it is true. But a large number is returning to Ukraine, that is, we can say that there is movement for the other side. Because when a child becomes an adult, she decides where to move further. So much of the graduates write NMT abroad and join Ukrainian.
Ukrainian graduates are the latest newsEarlier, the Minister of Education and Science Oksen Lisovy commented on the departure of graduates of Ukrainian schools abroad. According to him, this phenomenon has not become widespread.
“I would not say that it is massive, but the trend is. It is not in fact. It certainly has a number of ideas how to remember this negative trend, reducing it to the level of threat,” Lisovy said.
The minister added that this trend is related to the total wave of migration caused by the war.
At the same time, the deputy head of the Presidential Office Irina Vereshchuk reported that Ukraine officially recognizes the status and activity of Ukrainian educational units abroad. According to her, as of today, hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian children are abroad.
The new legislation will also recognize the results of non -formal education in Ukrainian, which children acquire abroad, in particular, in Saturday and Sunday schools.
