This statement was made in an interview with Zn.ua Deputy Minister of Education and Science Mikhail Vinnytsky.
According to a representative of the Ministry of Education and Science, last year the cost of studying on an average of 35-38 thousand hryvnias a year. However, this year it is expected that the cost of training will reach at 50 thousand hryvnias. It is noted that about the same number of the state spends budget students.
“We very often talk about the low salaries of our teachers, but we need to understand that the salaries of higher education teachers are also low.
According to the Deputy Minister of Education and Science, the department is aware that this amount may be too burdensome for many Ukrainians. Therefore, the state will compensate for part at the expense of the grant program.
“If the contractor has earlier paid for a contract, for example, 38 thousand hryvnias, now, at high cost, it will pay 35 thousand, and another 15-16 thousand will receive in the form of a grant. In this case, the cost of training is increasing, and the state supports strong entrants,” – added Mikhail Vinnytsky.
Education in Ukraine: You could miss itIn April, it became known that the Cabinet changed the rules of preparation for graduate students and doctoral students. Now they will necessarily take the Ukrainian and foreign language exams in the 3rd year. The Ministry of Education noted that it was a European Union. But they expect the majority to take an English exam.
Meanwhile, in Ukraine, the number of first -graders is rapidly decreasing. According to the Ministry of Education and Science, they are already 30% less than seven -graders. And it is predicted that this trend will be stored – by 2029, another 30% less children will go to the first class than they now study in the first class.
