He made the relevant statement when talking to journalists in the Oval Cabinet and at a meeting with South Korea President Lee Zhage Mon.

“We call it the Ministry of Defense, but between us, I think we are going to change the name. If you want to know the truth, I think it will be information about it. I spoke with people – and everyone likes it,” the American leader said.

Trump reminded that the United States gained “incredible victories” when the department was officially named the Ministry of War – during the First and Second World Wars. In his opinion, this name better reflects the essence of the activity of the Pentagon.

According to him, the decision on the official renaming of the Pentagon can be made in the near future.
