Deputy Minister of Energy Mykola Kolisnyk noted that the emergency and recovery works in Donetsk region have already started.

Deputy Minister of Energy Mykola Kolisnyk announced this at a briefing.
He noted that the emergency recovery work has already begun, but noted that repairs in the front-line areas are complicated by constant shelling. The deputy minister added that the difficult situation with electricity remains in the Odesa region.
“In the Odesa region, electricity supply has already been restored for more than 334,000 consumers, while 278,000 subscribers remain without electricity. In Donetsk region, 427,000 consumers remain without electricity,” Kolisnyk noted.
According to him, due to the difficult situation caused by the consequences of previous shelling, emergency shutdowns are applied in Kharkiv region in the morning.
As specified in Kharkovoblenergo, as of 10:50 a.m. emergency shutdown schedules are being applied in the Kharkiv region. At the same time, hourly shutdown schedules continue to operate in parallel.

As a result of the attack, consumers in Odesa, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Mykolaiv regions were temporarily left without electricity.
Due to the consequences of massive enemy attacks, power companies are forced to use hourly blackout schedules. According to Volodymyr Omelchenko, the director of energy programs of the Razumkov Center, schedules of hourly outages in Kyiv are among the longest in Ukraine.
