According to him, the conversations he led with Trump in Florida are reduced to two very simple messages.
“First, he is probably the only person in the world who can become a mediator in establishing peace between Ukraine and Russia. Why? Because Putin respects, and is heavily afraid of Donald Trump,” the politician said.
He claims that the second message concerns the ceasefire. The President recalled that he suggested establishing “Deadline” for the Russian Federation by April 20.
“If President Putin, who does not agree to the ceasefire, because Americans want it, Europeans want it, Ukrainians want it, if he does not obey the ceasefire, then we have to go for a tremendous set of sanctions from the US and Europe,” Stubb said.
Trump’s conversation with a stubbEarlier, Stubb said that Trump did not trust Russian President Vladimir Putin. He also reported that he had discussed the date of possible ceasefire in Ukraine with Trump, proposing April 20.
Stubb explained that, firstly, it was on April 20 that Easter has, and secondly, it will be exactly three months of Trump’s stay in the post of US President.
