According to him, a trip abroad was a business trip. He reported this on his Facebook page.
“Finally at home. It is not easy, but very important business trip (which has become unexpectedly popular thanks to some media) is completed. Tomorrow – I return to work in the Cabinet of Ministers: we will embody the arrangements in practice,” Chernyshov wrote.
The Minister noted that in particular, his team will work to maintain the already existing support of Ukrainian citizens in the Member States of the European Union.
“Let’s look at the discrediting campaign. The truth always wins,” he added.
Chernyshov’s scandal – what is knownIt should be reminded that Viceremier-Minister of National Unity Alexey Chernyshov left Ukraine. His press service in a comment to “Ukrainian Truth” reported that the Minister is on a planned business trip in EU countries.
At this time, the media began to disseminate information about Chernyshov’s delay abroad through a corruption case in the Minregion. In particular, investigative journalist Mikhail Tkach stated that NABU and SAP had detained two minister associates last week, one of whom was already near the border. It is about the former Secretary of State of the Minregion Vasyl Volodin and the former advisor Maxim Gorbatyuk.
However, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmigal assured that the Minister is really on a business trip and the relevant documents have already been signed.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky also confirmed that Chernyshov left Ukraine to perform his work duties. According to him, the minister was instructed to open hubs in different countries and study the issues of multiple citizenship.
