Da Silva believes that politicians are waiting for the moment when the courage will be gained and the end of the war.

“Everyone knows that this war will end soon. I believe that both President Putin and Zelensky know what this conflict will lead to, as well as Europe and Trump. They are only waiting for the moment when the courage will be announced to declare it,” the President of Brazil said.
Da Silva also criticized the European Union’s decisions, which allocated 800 billion euros for the re-equipment of all Member States. According to President Brazil, these funds should be spent on other purposes.
“When we need money to combat hunger and support forest, these resources should be allocated for other purposes,” Da Silva said.
He added that most international leaders are worried about who will take over the “debt of war” in Eastern Europe.
War in UkraineEarlier, UNIAN reported that US President Donald Trump spoke about the possibility of imposing sanctions and duties not only against Russia but also in Ukraine. He noted that thousands of young people die weekly and he can put an end to this by imposing sanctions or using very large duties that will be expensive to cost Russia or Ukraine. Trump added that he would seek that Vladimir Putin and President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky took place.
