The European Union has officially announced its commitment to provide Ukraine with a loan of €90 billion. Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, emphasized that this support will continue regardless of the global political landscape, as it is crucial for the security of Europe as a whole.
Von der Leyen reassured that the EU will fulfill its obligations to Kyiv, highlighting the significance of this financial assistance for Ukraine’s stability. “We will provide this loan of €90 billion. We will meet our commitments because our trust is at stake, and more importantly, our security. This is extremely important for us and absolutely clear,” she stated.
