Estonia is ready to send its troops to Ukraine for a peacekeeping mission – Prime Minister

Estonia considers the possibility of sending their military to Ukraine to restrain the aggression of the Russian Federation / Collage of UNIAN, Phoexels, General Staff of the Armed ForcesEstonia can direct the mouth of its soldiers for a potential peacekeeping mission in Ukraine within the framework of “reassuring forces”, headed by the United Kingdom and France. According to him, discussions that can lead to the formation of such restraint forces are still ongoing.

Michal added that any deployment of Estonian troops should be approved by the parliament of the country.

“The United Kingdom and France heads the attempts to form post -war” reassurance forces “in Ukraine as part of the efforts of the US aimed at stopping the Russian invasion. The United States noted that any peace agreement will require security guarantees for Kiev, without clarifying what they would be.

“Coalition of those who want” – what is knownEarlier, France and the United Kingdom headed the “Coalition of those”, which included more than 30 countries. In particular, states are ready to help Ukraine security in the event of a peace agreement.

Also in London and Paris have already announced their willingness to send their troops within the peacekeeping mission.

At the same time, the media reported that the “Coalition of those” stuck on two major issues of a peacekeeping mission. It is noted that these countries cannot determine the possible number of troops and the timing of their creation.
