Embezzlement in purchases for “Ukrzaliznytsia”: people’s deputy Bondar was given preventive measure – UAH 100 million bail

Law enforcement officers do not reveal the name of the suspect, but it is clear from the details of the case that it is a non -factional People’s Deputy Viktor Bondar.

The department noted that the investigating judge of VAKS refused to satisfy the request of NABU detectives to apply a pre -trial detention in the current People’s Deputy of Ukraine in the form of detention.

In addition to collateral, the court applied the following procedural responsibilities:

• not to leave the city of Kyiv and Kyiv region without the permission of the detective, the prosecutor and the court;
• arrive at each requirement for a detective, prosecutor and court;
• notify the detective, prosecutor or court about changing your place of residence;
• refrain from communicating with employees and officials of Ukrzaliznytsia, representatives of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, suspects and witnesses in the case;
• To deposit with detectives all their passports of a citizen of Ukraine for traveling abroad, other documents that are entitled to leave Ukraine and entry into Ukraine.

On January 17, NABU and SAP reported the suspicion of the current People’s Deputy of Ukraine, whom the investigation considers one of the organizers of seizure of Ukrzaliznytsia funds during the purchase of cable and conducting products.

According to the investigation, the deputy, using his influence, created obstacles in the activity of the entrepreneur to involve him in the implementation of the illegal scheme – in the future, having enlisted “support”, the People’s Deputy, together with the entrepreneur, developed a criminal scheme of seizure of “Ukrzaliznytsia” with the supply of products at high prices.

These facts were reported to 8 persons.
