He reported this in an interview with LRT.
The journalists asked Duda how Polish-Ukrainian relations would change, given that Navrotsky did not support Ukraine’s membership in the EU and NATO. He replied that he would still talk to his successor.
“As you know, I have a different opinion, but it follows from my presidential experience, that is, almost 10 years, during which I held the post of President of Poland, from all the knowledge I have accumulated over the years, and I definitely want to share them at least partially, saying with the newly elected president,” Duda said.

Recall that Navrotsky is a conservative historian, supported by the Opposition Party “Law and Justice”. It stands for traditional values, limiting the influence of the European Union on its country’s policies, as well as the careful policy of Ukraine’s accession to NATO and the EU.
In addition, Navrotsky said that he was ready to refuse to support Ukraine’s accession to NATO in exchange for political support from Slavomir Menzen, the Confederation leader. He also stated that he was ready to refuse to send Polish soldiers to Ukraine.
