The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry emphasized that the cooperation of Russian and Belarusian regimes “poses a direct threat” not only for Ukraine, but in general for the whole of Europe.
Ukrainian diplomats recalled that it was under the cover of a series of military exercises in 2021-2022 that Russia was able to concentrate a military group in Belarus to invade Ukraine.
“We warn Minsk from ill -advised provocations, we advise you to retain prudence, not to approach the borders and not to provoke the forces of Ukraine’s defense,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
The diplomatic department emphasized that Ukraine does not pose a threat to the Belarusian people, “with whom we seek to live in peace”, “in the European family of peoples”.
Military training in BelarusAs UNIAN wrote, on September 12-16 in Belarus will take place with the Russian Federation Military Exercises “West-2025”. Such exercises are conducted for two years. In 2021, under their cover, Russia began to transfer combat equipment into Belarus, preparing for a full -scale attack on Ukraine.
