According to him, in a situation where the enemy aims not only in military positions, but also on energy infrastructure, any political games in the rear are unacceptable.
“After a series of attacks on energy objects, it becomes clear: the enemy tries to hit our stability. And on the eve of winter, when the map puts energy security of the areas, not a politician, but a state approach,” he stressed.
Linko noted the work of the Cherkasy Ova, which, he said, operates and coordinates work with military, communities and volunteers. At the same time, he called the situation in the Cherkasy Regional Council a “political conflict”, because there has been uncertainty with management for more than a month.
“Due to political confrontation, deputies cannot release the previous nor a new chairman of the council, despite Anatoly Podgorny’s statement. Now is not peaceful time when it is possible to play political games for months to the detriment of stability,” Linko said.
He stressed that the new chairman of the regional council should be a non -political, responsible person who is able to quickly make decisions and work together with OVA, military, communities and business.
“We, the military, have neither time nor a desire to understand these behind -the -scenes processes. But the position is clear: the new leader must be a person of business, not an intrigue,” he stressed.
Linko also expressed his respect for Anatoly Podgorny, who was delegated to the Cherkasy residents and which, he said, “was able to perform his work with dignity and honestly put his authority.”
“It was a bold and decent act – not everyone can go, realizing that the system needs to be renewed. In such times it is necessary not only to demand stability, but also to thank those who provided it,” he summed up.
According to the veteran, during the war, the most important thing is to maintain unity, trust and order, not to shake the situation from the inside.
