“This commission, in principle, should develop all the ways to solve this quickly. We remain optimistic, because despite the fact that the current situation in Ukraine is a difficult one – a war, but we count on cooperation right here and we are open to cooperation,” said the politician.
According to her, the solution to this issue lies in the plane of compromise and consensus.
“These are always two words that have different philosophical meanings, but which must be arrived at. I think that a compromise is possible because this issue should not be on the agenda. We have more urgent issues that are of utmost importance to our two sides now. First of all, this is a matter of security and the implementation of our security agreement, which was signed by Mr. Tusk and Mr. Zelensky. Therefore, it seems to me that the solution of issues related to this and the solution of the issue of historical memory will still be on the agenda and it must be solved,” Kondratyuk said.
On September 24, the Poland-Ukraine Parliamentary Assembly met in Warsaw for the first time in four years, it was the 13th session of the parliament members of the two countries.
