Prime Minister Denis Shmigal reported that more than 2,000 residential certificates for the purchase of a new home will be issued during the government meeting, and the reconstruction of houses on their own land for hundreds of families will be financed.
“Since the beginning of the year, Ukraine has attracted almost $ 18 billion in external funding. With the support of our partners, we have continued the program of fast reconstruction. This means the restoration of the most important objects for stability and development,” the Prime Minister said.
Schmigal stressed that the main priorities of recovery are now energy and housing. Thus, under the Equation Program, more than 100 thousand Ukrainian families have received funds for repair, reconstruction or new housing. In particular, 18,000 certificates for the purchase of new housing were issued in return.
The Equinal Program is the latest newsIn May, the next stage of the implementation of the Equinal Program for those who build new housing on their own land began in Ukraine. The program is provided for citizens who have lost their private home because of the war, have a land plot and build new housing on it.
In May, the government also allocated an additional UAH 665 million to pay compensation under the Equation Program. Due to the finance of the program, it was planned to cover the need to restore 7 389 living quarters that were damaged by armed aggression.
