This year, 1 billion hryvnias are laid in the state budget / photoThe Government has allocated an additional UAH 665 million to pay compensation under the EAD. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Community and Territories of Ukraine.
“The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a resolution that allows to allocate 665 million hryvnias from the Fund for the elimination of the consequences of armed aggression to pay compensation for damaged housing within the Equinal Program. This is a help to Ukrainians for small and major repairs,” the statement said.
It is noted that thanks to the finance of the program, it is planned to cover the need to restore 7 389 living quarters that are damaged by armed aggression.
The Ministry of Development reminded that up to 200 thousand hryvnias can be obtained through compensation for category A repairs (current repairs). At the same time, for repairs of the apartment of category B (major repairs) can be obtained from 200 to 350 thousand hryvnias, for repair of the house – from 200 to 500 thousand hryvnias.
In general, this year 1 billion hryvnias are laid in the state budget. Of these, category A – 400 million, category B – 600 million.
Compensation for damaged housing in UkraineOn April 18, Prime Minister Denis Shmigal announced that Ukraine will receive $ 84 million from the World Bank for payment of compensation to Ukrainians under the Equation Program.
In early April, Ukraine raised 100 million euros (over UAH 4.8 billion) from the Bank of Development of the Council of Europe (BRRE) within the Nome project. Schmigal then noted that these funds will be directed to pay compensation to the owners of destroyed housing under the Equation program.
