It is noted that representatives of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Air Force of the Armed Forces, the Ministry of Strategic Industry of Ukraine, Ukrainian and American Defense Companies discussed the development of cooperation on the modernization of the Ukrainian Air Defense.
The report states that, in particular, it was about the organization of repair work and the modification of some Ukrainian air defense systems.
The head of the Main Department of Supporting Missile Programs of the Ministry of Defense Brigadny Sergey Baranov expressed his hope that Ukraine and the US companies operating in this area will be able to strengthen cooperation.
During the meeting in Kiev it was about the current state of the joint projects and further steps to implement them.
War in Ukraine is a means of air defense As reported by UNIAN, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said at the end of February 2025 that our country had not received all Patrio systems, which had agreed from the United States in the summer of 2024.
He said that work is going to resolve this issue, as well as Ukraine is engaged in Ukrainian counterparts.
He also pointed to the main problem of SAMP/T air defense systems. Zelensky noted that the missile for SAMP/T systems has never been enough.
