Referring to Trump’s “Make America Great Again” slogan, Green said Republicans then “decided to put on the Maga cap for the first time.”
She added that Republicans do not criticize Trump publicly because they are afraid of becoming his target.
“I think they are afraid to go beyond what is allowed and get an unpleasant post about themselves in Truth Social,” the politician explained.

Then President Trump turned on me, called me a ‘traitor’ and then more death threats and persecution started coming from the ‘right’ or elsewhere. I sent these death threats to my son President Trump, to which he responded with harsh accusations and zero sympathy,” Green said.
At the same time, Trump called her “crazy” and warned that without his support she would lose the next election in her district.
“The frivolous Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Green betrayed the entire Republican Party when she moved to the left wing,” he said.
