The government has developed two economic development scenarios for the next three years.
The government has made a forecast of salary growth in Ukraine for the next three years on two scenarios / photo UA.depositphotos.comThe Cabinet of Ministers has approved the forecast of economic and social development of Ukraine for 2026-2028, according to which the average salary in Ukraine will exceed 30 thousand hryvnias next year and continue to grow in the future.
This is stated in Government Resolution No. 946.
The forecast was developed by two scenarios: the first involves ceasefire as early as 2026, while the second was developed in accordance with the continuation of hostilities in Ukraine.
According to the first scenario, the average monthly wage of employees in the next three years will be:
- 2026 – 30240 UAH;
- 2027 – UAH 35268;
- 2028 – UAH 39758.
In the alternative scenario, the average salary will be slight, but will also increase by about 5000 UAH per year:
- 2026 – UAH 30032;
- 2027 – 34 808 UAH;
- 2028 – 39 436 UAH.
Salary in Ukraine is the latest newsThe government predicts the next three years of increasing average salary in Ukraine. In 2028, it can reach almost 40 thousand hryvnias. In 2025, according to the preliminary forecast, the average salary in Ukraine should be 24 389 UAH.
The National Bank expects that the average salary will increase by 19%this year, it was reported in the NBU inflationary report. However, Ukrainians will hardly feel improved, as the average inflation will be 13.3%per year. Thus, the real salary will increase by only 5.2%.
