Russian dictator Vladimir Putin does not seek a truce in a full -scale war against Ukraine.
This statement was made in a comment by STT agency President of Finland Alexander Stubb, Yle reports. On March 15, the politician participated in a summit in support of Ukraine, organized by the Prime Minister of Great Britain, Kirr Starmer.
“Putin does not seek a truce, ceasefire or peace. Its main purpose, namely the destruction of independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, has not changed at all,” Stubb said.
At the same time, the Finnish leader expressed his hope that the pressure from the event would force Russia to go to the truce:
“I hope we can continue the pressure from the event to force Russia to stop fire.”
