“Are we allies with the Russians?”: Michael Douglas made a statement about US policy

In his blog, he posted an appeal in which Donald Trump’s attempts to “pacify” Russia and again supported Ukraine.

“I feel like a bear. I was in a hibernation, and then came out – and it’s like a new world. I was with the Russians? I thought they tried to destroy us over the last 75 years. In any case, I just wanted to shook my own horn for a second,” he said.

It is worth noting that Douglas does not support Ukraine for the first time. For example, in 2022, he appeared on the red carpet of the Guild of Film Accurate Prize in a black tuxedo, which supplemented with a blue and yellow accessory. Then he reminded all those present that these were the colors of the flag of Ukraine.

And in 2024, Douglas arrived in Kiev. He met with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and his wife Elena Zelensky. At this meeting, he expressed his admiration for Ukrainians who oppose Russian aggression.
