According to Aktuality, the “message” was delivered this morning.“We can confirm that the envelope with the bullet, addressed to the Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic, was delivered to the government office today,” the press service of the Slovak government replied to the publication.
It is noted that mail addressed to the Prime Minister is checked by employees of the Office for the Protection of Officials and Diplomatic Missions. Their attention was drawn by the appearance of the message, and subsequent X-ray examination showed that it contained a “charge”.
The representative of the Bratislava police, Michal Zeiff, said that law enforcement agencies are currently taking appropriate emergency measures.

The attacker himself claimed during the interrogations that he did not want to kill Fico, but only to “harm his health”, because he did not like his politics, in particular regarding the war in Ukraine.
