“This night, Russia launched a record number of Shaheds and other attack drones against Ukraine – 145. During this week, it used more than 800 guided aerial bombs, about 600 attack drones and almost 20 missiles of various types,” the head of state wrote in a telegram.
“Such terror cannot be stopped with words, and the killing of children, the loss of relatives cannot simply be forgotten. Without strong decisions, there is no security from terror, and this is equally clear in every country. And without justice, there is no reliable peace, and achieving this is quite realistic for Ukraine,” he added.
Earlier today, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that on the night of November 10, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with a record number of drones, 145 UAVs of the Shahed type and drones of an unknown type were detected. The military noted that 62 UAVs were shot down, 67 Russian drones were “locationally lost” in various regions of Ukraine, and 10 drones left Ukrainian airspace in the direction of Moldova, Belarus, and Russia.
Earlier this week, the General Staff of the Armed Forces reported that during August, September and October, Russia launched 4,300 Shahed attack drones and other types of drones simulating Shaheds over Ukraine. According to the report, 71% of these drones were shot down by air defense forces, another 24% were “lost in location”.
The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.
The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.
The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes by Russia.
