At the same time, the politician assures that she will be able to negotiate with the White House better than others:
“I have a message for Trump: We are your neighbor and your most important trading partner. But if war comes to our door, just remember that we love our country as much as you love yours… Canada will not go away to escalate. But if I’m prime minister, Canada will never back down.”
Trudeau’s resignationAs UNIAN reported, on January 6, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced his resignation as leader of the Liberal Party. After the election of a new leader, he will leave the post of prime minister.
