Russia has again dealt a massive blow to Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.

“Currently, the most difficult situation is in Chernihiv Oblast, Sumy Oblast, Kharkiv Oblast, and Odesa Oblast. In Chernihiv Oblast, the enemy attacked several energy facilities, which is why about 140,000 consumers remain without power. Repair work is complicated by continuous attacks by Russian drones,” Artem Nekrasov said.
The agency admits that a significant part of the generation was affected – now specialists of the Ministry of Energy are doing everything possible to ensure that light appears in every home. Specific figures regarding the power deficit are not being disclosed, so as not to make the task easier for the Russian side.
“Given the consequences of shelling and the weather conditions today during the day, there is a need for economical consumption of electricity. If you have electricity now, please limit the use of powerful electrical appliances as much as possible,” said the First Deputy Minister of Energy.
He added that in order to restore electricity supply to consumers who were left without electricity for a long time in some regions, instead of the earlier emergency shutdowns, hourly shutdown schedules are being introduced.
Consumers can find up-to-date information about the schedule or changes in the situation on the Oblenergo pages in their region.
A new Russian attack – what is known We will remind you that at night the Russian occupiers launched a combined attack on Ukraine, in particular, on the capital. It was reported that due to the Russian attack there are dead and wounded. Due to the attack, power outages began in the capital.
Experts are sure that shelling of Ukraine’s energy facilities will continue, but Moscow will not be able to plunge Ukraine into darkness for a long time, because today it has all the opportunities to restore the operation of networks and systems after the attacks.
