Oleksiy Bezhevets, the authorized representative of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on recruiting issues, stated this, the ministry’s press service informs.

“The indicators of recruitment in the Defense Forces are increasing from month to month. On average, 6.5 thousand volunteers are recruited monthly across the country. It is people who are the basis of the Defense Forces, and the Center provides an opportunity to join their ranks. Our recruiters are ready to provide advice and help everyone find their a place in the army,” Bezhevets said.

According to him, there are more than 10,000 vacancies in the Defense Forces in Ukraine, including cooks, repairmen, lawyers, doctors and UAV operators. You can be recruited to any units of the Armed Forces, the National Guard, the Security Service of Ukraine and the State Security Service.

More than 17,000 citizens throughout Ukraine applied to the network of recruiting centers and received professional advice from civilian recruiters who underwent special training.

“Subpoenas will not be distributed in and around the recruiting center – this is expressly prohibited by regulatory documents,” the ministry said.

According to him, first of all, the units “disassemble” medics and drivers of category C (driving trucks).

Earlier, UNIAN reported that the Ministry of Defense plans to automate the process of issuing subpoenas. In particular, it is planned to make it possible to generate the summons in electronic form, so as not to waste time on printing it on paper and manually filling it out.
