According to Deputy Minister of Education and Science, young people return to Ukraine, because they have something to compare.

Mikhail Vinnytsky believes that young people are also returning home because in Ukraine live cheaper and more interesting / UNIAN photoMikhail Vinnytsky believes that young people are also returning home because in Ukraine live cheaper and more interesting / UNIAN photoThere are currently a large number of people who go abroad at the age of 16-17 in Ukraine. However, there is also positive statistics, namely that 18-19-year-old young people return home. Deputy Minister of Education and Science Mikhail Vinnytsky told this in an interview with Telegraph.

“And there are statistics that I can talk about today – our results of registration for NMT (national multi -enthusiastic test – UNIAN). Last year there were just more than 20 thousand, this year – also a little more than 20 thousand. This is the number of registrations at NMT from abroad. That is, a person is physically outside Ukraine, but has a job.

Vinnytsky added that this is important because NMT is not needed to enter foreign universities. In these countries, your entrance exams are only required.

“And the certificates they all have. But for joining the Ukrainian institution, it is necessary NMT. Accordingly, in 34 countries, in 55 cities we have provided the opportunity to make NMT. The Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Education organized this opportunity. And the fact that this figure is stable at 20 thousand, it is really good. They come here, ” – assured the Deputy Minister of Education and Science.

According to him, this testifies to the quality of Ukrainian education, because a person has something to compare.

“It lives in Poland, Germany, Italy. It compares the opportunities that it has in Ukraine and chooses it. So it is a very positive trend. Yes, there is a large number of people who go abroad, but it is balanced by a large number of those who return,” Vinnytsky emphasized.

The official was also asked if there is a statistics that confirms that the departure of boys after grades 9 or 11 is not massively, as Vinnytsky and Education Minister Oksen Lisovy said earlier, to which he answered:

“No, no. See what I said: what is it irrational. And what is irrational? What this decision has nothing to do with rationality. Because children are taken out at 17 years old, allegedly because of fear of mobilization. Well, sorry, but mobilization age is 25 years.

The official also spoke about another issue that is often raised in Ukraine, namely: “If a guy 18 – he can no longer leave the country,” but he stressed that it was not.

“We have provided a huge number of academic mobility programs today. Bakalars’ students between the ages of 18 and 22 have the opportunity to go for a semester abroad, to learn – and to return. Yes, now, it is a martial law. It means that, sorry, to Maldives or Egypt, you just not go to the country. Vinnytsky noted.

At the same time, he stressed that there is academic mobility in Ukraine, namely that people return home in 18-19 years.

“Because having lived there (abroad – UNIAN) a year and a half, many young boys and girls begin to understand: in Ukraine – quality education, it is cheaper to live, it is more interesting to live,” – summed up the Deputy Minister of Education and Science.

Education in Ukraine is the latest newsEarlier, Mikhail Vinnytsky stated that in Ukraine the number of graduates by 20-30 thousand is decreasing every year. According to him, this is due to the fact that less children are born in Ukraine.

“I note that if all our territories were controlled by Ukraine, this year we would have about 510 thousand school graduates. We see an obvious difference: 360 thousand against 510 thousand,” the official explained.

However, he noted that this year, Ukraine has 312 thousand graduates who registered for the national multi -grade test (NMT). This figure is almost identical compared to last year.

Vinnytsky also said that future graduate students will be drawn up in Ukraine. He stressed that future graduate students will create centralized electronic offices and in case of successful passing of the exam will be admitted before entrance tests in higher education institutions.

“Is it a 100 % barrier to corruption during the journalism? No. At the level of establishments, unfortunately, they can continue to select, relatively speaking, their own, but this mechanism is exactly better than the one that has worked so far,” the official added.
