Specifically, Jones couldn’t stop pointing out every time Tyson did it and wondered if he had a mouthpiece issue, to which Ranallo assured Jones that biting his own gloves has been a tick throughout Tyson’s career.
So really, what was the deal with Tyson biting his own gloves? He answered when asked by Ariel Helwani after the fight ended.
“I have a habit of biting my gloves in my fights, yeah,” Tyson said. “I have a biting fixation.”
