I wish you good health, dear Ukrainians!
Today – Zaporizhzhia, region.
Ground Forces Day – congratulated our soldiers, honored them with awards. 65th Separate Mechanized Brigade, 27th Missile Artillery Brigade. Also, our Ukrainian medics, I am very grateful to all of them – the headquarters in the Zaporozhye direction. Very high level. Thank you for your expertise, thank you all for protecting Ukraine, our people.
There was an important conversation with the commanders of various units. Combatants, senior officers. Changes are needed in military training – in training centers. Also, in the brigades themselves, all effective learning experience should be scaled up and faster. The combat brigade is often the best instructor. The very right thing is to send funds directly to the brigades, so that they can buy drones at their own discretion – exactly what they need. We are increasing the funds. Work with drones must also always change – because it must adapt to the development of the combat situation. War requires change to preserve life. The lives of our boys and to protect Ukraine.
Much work regarding Zaporizhzhia: security situation, protection of the sky. I held a meeting of the Headquarters today right here, and primarily regarding air defense, stabilization of the front, achievement of our main security tasks. We need real peace, so we need to be really strong for that. And we must do everything so that every day brings us closer to peace.
Here, in Zaporizhzhia, the first modern school started working, today we were there – a school right in the shelter. She is safe. A thousand children can study. And thanks to this, third-graders, second-graders and the youngest children were able to study together. Together, offline, so that all social skills are. This is very important – so that the war does not take away from children the chance to become successful adults. We are building other such schools in the frontline regions and in the Zaporizhzhia region in particular. We will talk to our partners as early as next week – for more air defense, for a faster peace.
I want to thank everyone. Thank you Zaporizhzhia. Thank you Dnipro, I was in touch with them today. Thanks to everyone who helps us!
Glory to Ukraine!
