We have already explained to all partners why Ukraine really needs a sufficient long-range – the address of the President

Dear Ukrainians, Ukrainian women!

Rescue operations are still ongoing in Kharkiv. A Russian aerial bomb hit the house. This is an ordinary multi-storey residential building. There was a fire, the floors collapsed. It is known about people under the rubble. As of now, 35 are injured, including three children. All services, rescuers, medics, and communal services quickly arrived at the scene, and all those injured are being assisted. In total, there were four aerial bombs in just one strike on Kharkiv Oblast. One around Kharkiv, around the house. The other three are in villages in the Kharkiv region. Today, the Russians dropped such bombs on Sumy Oblast, our Donetsk Oblast. In general, there are at least a hundred such airstrikes every day. 128 guided aerial bombs in one past day. And this terror can only be opposed by a systemic solution. This is a long-range solution. To destroy the Russian military aircraft where it is based. This is an obvious, logical solution. We have already explained to all partners why Ukraine really needs a sufficient long-range. And every such Russian attack, every manifestation of Russian terror, as today against Kharkiv, against our Sumy region, against our Donetsk region, all this proves that the long-range must be – and must be sufficient. We expect appropriate decisions, first of all, from the United States, Britain, France, Germany, Italy – all those who can help save lives with their determination.

Today, the repair crews in Donetsk region, who were actually working under the threat of shelling, restored the supply of electricity to people in Kramatorsk, Sloviansk, and Kostiantynivka. Almost one hundred and fifty thousand residents of the Kramatorsk district were without electricity due to this Russian attack. And of course, it is the heroism of our people, all those who work for Ukraine, for the sake of Ukrainians, that – despite everything – basic life support is being restored. There was also a report by Viktor Mykyta, deputy head of the Office for Regional Policy, on the situation in Odesa due to bad weather. Extraordinary rain these days, flooding in Odesa region. The State Emergency Service of Ukraine, regional authorities, local authorities are all involved. Unfortunately, there are also critical situations in neighboring countries due to these extreme rainfalls. On my behalf, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andriy Sybiga, offered the help of rescuers of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine to the relevant countries of our part of Europe.

And one more thing.

There was a report today by the Chairman of the Syrskyi Committee. Every day is the unchanging attention of the front and our operation in the Kursk region. Pokrovsky direction, Kurakhivskyi, Toretskyi, Kup’yanskyi – I want to thank every unit that really defends our positions. 46th Separate Airborne Brigade, 79th Brigade Paratroopers, 25th Separate Airborne Brigade, 54th Separate Mechanized and 35th Separate Marine Brigade. Thanks to all of you, warriors! Kursk region – we continue our active actions, and it is very important that the “exchange fund” is replenished for us, for our state.

Thank you to everyone who fights, who works for the sake of Ukraine, for the sake of all of us, for the sake of all Ukrainians!

Glory to Ukraine!
