The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, met with Anna Bjerde, the World Bank’s Managing Director for Operational Activities.
The head of state thanked the World Bank for all the support provided to Ukraine. In particular, for the consolidation of financial aid and support programs.
“The World Bank, your team have been helping us since the beginning of the Russian invasion, and we really value our relationship,” the President said.
Volodymyr Zelenskyi emphasized that Ukraine hopes to continue such cooperation both now and after the end of the war in order to restore the country.
