President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi met with President of Israel Yitzhak Herzog.
The head of the Ukrainian state noted the importance of releasing the hostages. Ukrainians understand that they have to worry when their relatives are kept in captivity, and they rejoice together with everyone when people return home from captivity.
Volodymyr Zelenskyi also expressed hope for further security and stability in the entire Middle East region.
The presidents of Ukraine and Israel discussed challenges common to both states, and also agreed on directions for further cooperation, primarily in the security sphere.
Among the main topics of the meeting are ways to achieve a just and sustainable peace.
