President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi and Prime Minister of Denmark Mette Frederiksen visited a clinical hospital where wounded Ukrainian soldiers are being treated.

Volodymyr Zelenskyi and Mette Frederiksen, in particular, talked with soldiers who were wounded in battles in Kurshchyna, in the Kupyansk and Lymansk directions.

The President awarded the defenders with orders “For Courage” II and III degrees.

“Thank you for your service, for protecting our country. Get well soon,” he said.

Volodymyr Zelenskyi also presented the military medics with the Order of Princess Olga III degree and the medal “For Military Service to Ukraine”.

“Thank you for what you do for our boys. Much respect for your work, for saving lives. A low bow to you for this,” the President noted.

In addition, the leaders inspected the equipment that doctors use to perform operations, and also familiarized themselves with the construction project of a new reception department designed for 40 patients at the same time. It will house a diagnostic center, an examination room, a manipulation room and an intensive care unit. It will also be integrated into the transition between the surgical and trauma buildings, which will provide quick and barrier-free access to the three buildings in the complex.
