During a meeting with Ukrainian drone manufacturers, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer got acquainted with the concrete results of their work: bomber drones and reconnaissance UAVs.
The leaders were shown samples of domestically produced drones, which are used by Ukrainian defenders to fight against Russian aggression. In particular, bombers that can carry and drop up to 40 kg of ammunition at a distance of more than 15 km. These copters are effective in destroying enemy targets, particularly forward logistics and in shallow rear areas, especially at night.
Volodymyr Zelenskyi and Kir Starmer were also told about the platform – the carrier of FPV drones – Ukrainian-British development, as well as Ukrainian reconnaissance UAVs containing British-made communication modules.
Representatives of the manufacturing companies informed about the characteristics of drones and the peculiarities of their use and demonstrated relevant examples.
“We are very happy that we can count on Great Britain. I am also very grateful to our guys for productive cooperation with British partners. I think that this year we will achieve a very big, very important result,” the President noted.
According to him, Ukraine plans to further increase the production of drones and reach record levels.
Keir Starmer emphasized that Great Britain will help Ukraine to create something that strengthens it in the resistance to Russian aggression and allows to preserve the lives of Ukrainian men and women. He noted that cooperation in the field of technology is extremely important today.
