The head of the Ukrainian state informed about today’s meeting with the US Vice President, Jay Di Vens and a recent telephone conversation with President Donald Trump, and also spoke about recent contacts with European leaders.
Volodymyr Zelensky and Emmanuel Macron discussed the effective strategy of Ukraine, the United States and Europe to approach a just peace. The President of Ukraine stressed that Europe must be presented at the table of negotiations.
Particular attention is the guarantees of security and proposals of France. The leaders agreed to continue coordination with other allies in Europe to form a common vision. The safety of the whole of Europe in the future depends on unity.
Volodymyr Zelensky thanked France for the efforts for the fair end of the war and the dedication of “nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine”.
