Ukrainian-language audio guides have started working in Mexico and Argentina. The First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, announced this.

In particular, the new audio guide appeared in Mexico City on the Capital Bus tourist bus route, as well as on two sightseeing bus routes in Buenos Aires.

Olena Zelenska noted the importance of introducing Ukrainian audio guides in Latin America. They are already available also in Brazil (São Paulo) and Peru (Lima).

“In Argentina alone, even before the Russian invasion, more than 400,000 Ukrainian diaspora lived – one of the largest in both Americas. But no matter how long you live away from home, it is always important to hear your native language. And this is also important for our language and culture. They should sound like the voice of a country that fights against injustice and aggression, but preserves interest and energy for creative life,” said the first lady.

91 audio guides are already working in 49 countries as part of the First Lady’s project to Ukrainize world monuments.
