Dear Ukrainians, Ukrainian women!
Today, there are already preliminary data that the Russians began to use soldiers from North Korea in assaults – a noticeable number.
The Russians include them in combined units and use them in operations in the Kursk region. So far only there. But we have information that it can be used in other areas of the front as well. Losses among this category are already noticeable.
In fact, Moscow involved another state in this war, and involved it as much as possible. And if this is not an escalation, then what is the escalation that many have been talking about?
It is Putin who is taking steps that expand and continue this war. It is he who repels the possibility of peace. And he wants the world to have more problems in Asia as well. This is why the Russians are training North Korea in modern warfare.
And apparently, Moscow is ignoring calls from all countries, from China and Brazil to many others, about the need to do everything for de-escalation. If there is no strong reaction from the world, Russia is making the war worse. Always so.
We will defend ourselves, including against these North Koreans. And we will continue to act in coordination with all our partners to stop this war – to stop it reliably, with guaranteed peace.
Next week we will talk in Europe about joint work. Sanctions against Russia, support for our defense and investment in Europe’s common defense, and strong diplomacy for peace are things that must be increased every week so that next year, together with our partners, we can achieve our main goal.
Today, after the reports of our government officials, they agreed to work on Syria. First of all, humanitarian and security work. How we can help stabilize.
This is important for Ukraine: the calmer the situation in such regions, the more actively the world will be able to help us establish peace.
We are ready to help Syria prevent a food crisis. And in particular, thanks to the humanitarian program “Grain from Ukraine” – Grain from Ukraine. I instructed the government to establish food supply in cooperation with international organizations and those partners who can help.
And we call on everyone in the world now to join the stabilization efforts so that the war that was started in Syria more than a decade ago – started with the participation of Iran, Russia – so that this war finally stops.
And one more thing. Last night, the Russians used more than a hundred attack drones against our country. Fortunately, most of them did not achieve their goals – they were shot down, diverted by EW.
Now I want to thank all our mobile fire groups who defend Ukraine every night and every day, and all our other soldiers of air defense units. And also to everyone who develops our EW systems, who produces them, who supplies them to the troops. Your work saves many lives – both by countering “shaheed” and by protecting against other types of drones.
