In the Dnieper region, the first lady of Ukraine visited modern shelters, which was set up by the Foundation of Elena Zelenskaya. Almost 2,000 students of two lyceums and gymnasiums will be able to study them safely.
Each of the shelters restored engineering networks, overhaul, conducted ventilation and fire alarm systems. In addition, now each of these objects is a barrier. For children with special educational needs, special bathrooms and additional barrier exits with mechanisms to arrive on a wheelchair chair were arranged.
Today, at the invitation of the Foundation, the National Police, SES and Halo Ukraine (representatives of the world’s largest humanitarian -demining organization) were held in the shelters of workshops on mine -and -fire safety, as well as to counteract violence and cyber -threatening.
“All the shelters that the Foundation restores and arranges in Ukrainian schools and kindergartens are dual purpose. Today it is possible to carry out various workshops in them, and after the victory, we all hope that they will turn into full modern habes for children, ”Olena Zelenska said.
According to the Dnipropetrovsk OVA, 83 % of educational institutions work in the area within the framework of the state policy of the Offline School of Offline in the region.
The Foundation, implementing the project, in particular contributes to the support of students’ education during the war.
“We are extremely grateful to every international partner who has joined and joined our project for the restoration and arrangement of shelters for children,” said Nina Gorbachev, director of the Foundation of the Foundation of Elena Zelenskaya.
The Danish Holding Company Heartland A/S helped to restore all three shelters in the Dnieper region. Soon four more shelters, restored with the support of other international partners, will work in Odesa region and Mykolaiv region.
