First of all, words of gratitude to all our soldiers who ensure the strikes of our drones. Everyone can see how it works. Drones at the front, as well as our long-range drones – deep in the Russian rear. Russian military facilities are becoming increasingly accessible to our soldiers. I thank the Security Service of Ukraine and the guys from the Special Operations Forces. Russian military depots, airfields, and their military-industrial complex enterprises will not be hidden.
The efforts of all those who destroy Russian equipment at the front are also vital. In particular, only the special forces of the Security Service of Ukraine and only Russian tanks have already destroyed more than one thousand three hundred. Every eighth Russian tank destroyed by Ukraine is on account of guys from the SBU. I am also grateful to the soldiers of the Main Directorate of Intelligence. To all units that perform tasks in the east of our country – in battles and behind enemy lines. Thank you!
This week we also have important decisions of our partners. Something that really helps. France – there is a decision on the missile package. We continue with France an extremely heavy training program for our soldiers. I thank you for that!
We are working with our partners in the United States of America on new defense packages that support our air defense system. And this is something that is absolutely necessary before winter, in the conditions of constant Russian strikes. We need real progress on long range as well. There is a solution that allows American contractors to work in Ukraine to repair and maintain equipment. This will significantly speed up the processes.
I am also grateful to Canada for working with us on the supply of additional Nasams air defense systems. There is a new decision from Britain this week on sanctions against Russian entities working for the war – and this is also very important. Thank you! All legal entities and individuals of Russia, which ensure the activity of the Russian military industry, should be cut off from the world – to reduce Russia’s ability to avoid real diplomacy and further incite war. Everyone in the world needs sanctions to reduce Putin’s self-confidence above all. And it is absolutely realistic.
Now a new military package from Lithuania is being prepared. We are also working together to raise funds for the purchase of weapons and production in Ukraine. Sweden – there are new solutions in both civil and military support, in particular for our maritime security.
And, of course, our gratitude to every partner in the world, to all political and public leaders who make sure that real diplomacy works. We understand absolutely clearly: without force, diplomacy has no perspective. But even without a clear understanding of diplomatic goals, weapons will not do all the work. That is why force and diplomacy must work together. And just like that. That the peace would become reliable and that there would be no repetition of such a war. And it’s real.
